Tempe’s only FDLE Certified Live Scan Provider

The ORI, or Originating Agency Identifier, is a unique code provided by the requesting agency. This code serves a dual purpose: it specifies the reason for your background check and directs the FDLE on where to send your results.

When you submit your fingerprints electronically through Florida Live Scan, the background check is typically completed within three business days. To schedule a Florida Live Scan appointment, you must first obtain the ORI number from the concerned agency.

The TCN, or Transaction Control Number, is a unique identifier that allows you or your agency to track the status of your fingerprint submission within the Florida system.

To check the status using your TCN, visit the FDLE's TCN Lookup. Be prepared to provide the date of your fingerprinting and your FDLE TCN number.
